Obituary for Brandon Peel
Brandon Peel, 25, of Adrian, Missouri, died unexpectedly, Monday, April 19, 2010, while working near his home.
He was born June 6, 1984, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Daniel William Peel and Renée Lynn (Uptegrove) Peel. On July 19, 2003, he married Jennifer Drury and to this union, two children, Cameron and Connor, were born. He later was engaged to be married to Deena Highfill, and together they were the parents of a daughter, Chevelle.
Brandon graduated from Adrian High School and worked for several years as an automotive mechanic in the Paola area. He later worked in light construction, framing and plumbing houses, for a period of time. Most recently Brandon was an automotive mechanic in Raymore, Mo. Brandon enjoyed doing anything outdoors, but especially enjoyed fishing, 4 wheeling, playing horseshoes and cutting and splitting wood. He also enjoyed “piddlin’ in the shop” and loved spending time with his children. Brandon had attended the Adrian Christian Church.
Survivors include his fiancée, Deena Highfill, Adrian, Mo.; a son, Connor William Peel, Paola, Ks.; 2 daughters, Cameron Lynn Peel, Paola, Ks.; and Chevelle Leann Peel, Adrian, Mo.; his mother, Renée Peel, Adrian, Mo.; his father Danny Peel, Kansas City, Ks.; maternal grandmother, La Donna Crouch, Windsor, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Huberta Groneman, Kansas City, Ks.; a brother, Brice Lynn Peel, Warrensburg, Mo.; 2 sisters, Brenna Daniél Essenpries, Belton, Mo.; and Brooke Renée Peel, Adrian, Mo.; an aunt, Laura D. Reis and her husband Tim; a nephew, Tucker Patrick Essenpries and a niece “on the way” Layla Daniél Essenpries. Numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold Lee Uptegrove and an aunt, Rhonda Leah DeLong.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 22, 11:00 a.m., at the Adrian Christian Church, Adrian, Mo. The family will receive friends two hours before the service, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. The family suggests memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses and contributions may be made to the Hadley Funeral Home, 405 E. Benton, Windsor, MO 65360. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
